The Pocket 1000 Ortho mattress is part of the Essentials range made by The Shire Bed Company, a UK Yorkshire based manufacturer and renowned member of the National Bed Federation and British Furniture Manufacturers Association, recognised for outstanding product quality and service.

The mattress is 24cm thick and features a supportive 1,000 pocket spring unit, designed to conform to the body, providing support for pressure points and encouraging correct spinal alignment while you sleep. Surrounding the pocket springs are multiple layers of firmer fillings offering an orthopaedic firm comfort support.

Finished in a high quality Damask white stripe fabric with a hand tufted finish for added comfort, a side stitched border to add strength, flag stitched handles for easy rotating and air vents to allow airflow through the mattress preventing the build up of moisture.
